Wild Symbol: The gold coin is wild and replaces all other symbols except the bonus symbols.
The Big Bet Game: This is closely related to the bonuses you'll choose, but we thought we'd start with this option first to explain why you should or shouldn't use it.
Basically, you can choose to spend anything from £€$10 to £€$25 to spin one of the bonus wheels. You usually have three wheels, one for each of the bonus games you've chosen.
If you decide to take the cost and spin the wheel, and it lands on rainbow, you get the bonus feature. If it lands on the green, you get 5 mega spins.
The higher you bet, the more likely you are to trigger the bonus features instead of the mega spins.
Why would you prefer the bonus to the mega spins? Because those are only normal spins, but played at 3 times the minimum bet, whilst the bonus features are played at 60 times the minimum bet.
And that's regardless of how much you've bet to spin those little wheels. So it's risky.

Which of the 5 bonus games to choose? This is a big question. What we are going to do is list them in order from worst to best - or the ones you are more least likely to get big wins to the higher return features.
You can choose to pick only one, and then guarantee that bonus only (though not the frequency). Personally we like three for variety.

In the first instance you are awarded 3 pick out of a field of 24 toadstools. You'll either find a multiplier or a fairy under there - but it's really the fairy you want as she uncovers the toadstools around you, leading to more wins.

3. Medium wins - Road to Riches: From the original Rainbow Riches game, you should immediately recognise this bonus the moment you trigger it with 3 leprechaun symbols anywhere on screen.
You've got a road of gold that leads to a pot of gold worth 500x your line bet. Along the roads are multipliers - press the spin button to see if you move along the road from 1 to 6 spaces, or collect and go home.
If you catch 4 symbols, instead of 3, you get bigger multipliers on the road to riches.
4. Medium to high wins - Cash of Crops: We prefer the Road to Riches, to be honest, but there's no doubt there's more wins in the cash crop bonus.

You then click to spin a singular coin where you either 'go on' to the next level, or you collect. The levels are:
